Earthquake Rocks Alaska, Generates Small Tsunami

ANCHORAGE, Alaska, January 23, 2018 (ENS) – A massive magnitude 7.9 earthquake struck off the Alaskan coast southeast of Kodiak Island in the Gulf of Alaska at 12:31 this morning, local time. The center of the quake was located 175 miles southeast of Kodiak City.
