CBC Campaign to Highlight Philanthropic Efforts of Member Companies
The Center for Biocide Chemistries (CBC) launched a new campaign, The Science of Helping Others, to spotlight the charitable and community-focused efforts of the antimicrobial industry throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Since March 2020, when many Americans began quarantining, numerous CBC member companies extended themselves by donating millions of dollars in funds, products, and equipment to organizations working to fight COVID-19 across the country.
Throughout the past year, it has been CBC’s mission to share vital information about antimicrobials and emphasize how effective disinfectants can be in killing harmful germs and viruses. At the same time, many of the individual members of CBC took on a leadership role in making donations to organizations large and small, within their communities and around the world.
As government agencies, healthcare providers, scientists, and emergency response workers stepped up to fight the SARS-CoV-2 virus, so too did the antimicrobial industry. The following represents a sample of the philanthropic efforts made by members of the CBC. For more information,
