WASHINGTON, March 20, 2025 – The American Petroleum Institute (API) today released the following statement from Vice President of Upstream Policy Holly Hopkins following the Department of the Interior’s announcement to take steps to expand opportunities for exploration and development in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska (NPR-A) and the Coastal Plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).
