API Applauds Passage of Resolution to End EPA’s Duplicative Methane Fee

WASHINGTON, February 27, 2025 – The American Petroleum Institute (API) today released the following statement from Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer Amanda Eversole applauding House and Senate passage of a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to begin repealing the EPA’s Waste Emissions Charge (WEC) established under the Inflation Reduction Act.
